Reiki is a natural healing modality that assesses and adjusts the imbalances in a person’s energy field, to help the body return to its natural, balanced state.

What to expect

A session is usually 60 to 90 minutes long. The practitioner will describe the session and give you the opportunity to discuss any particular problems or issues you are having, then ask what you are hoping to achieve from their session. Once comfortably positioned, the practitioner moves through specific hand positions beginning at either your head or feet. Some people experience a warming sensation or tingling during the session, others feel nothing at all apart from relaxation. The session should be pleasant, relaxing, and invigorating.
